Strategic roadmap to 2030

A disciplined pathway from early targets to Tier-1 potential, focused on long-term value creation.

Our asset selection logic

The meritocratic funnel

At Mountain Mine Q, every opportunity is assessed through a structured, evidence-led funnel. We treat mineral exploration as a high-conviction investment process, ensuring capital and effort are directed toward the most prospective ground while maintaining discipline around non-core outcomes.

Regional screening

Tier 1: Regional screening

Application phase

Focus: Rapid identification of prospective Exploration Licence opportunities across Western Australia. Northern Territory and South Australia are considered selectively when evidence quality and commercial fit support expansion.

Action: AI and NLP workflows screen historical WAMEX, STRIKE and SARIG datasets to prioritise proven geological corridors and under-explored settings.

Systematic validation

Tier 2: Systematic validation

Growth projects

Focus: Progressing from desktop anomalies to field-confirmed systems.

Action: Fit-for-purpose geochemical sampling, portable XRF as a field guidance tool, and regional geophysics where appropriate to confirm the presence, scale and continuity of mineralised systems.

Advanced targets

Tier 3: Advanced targets

Priority drilling

Focus: Testing the third dimension once sufficient geological and technical validation has been achieved.

Action: Planning and executing initial reverse circulation drilling programs where access, approvals and confidence thresholds justify progression.

Flagship candidates

Tier 4: Flagship candidates

A-class potential

Focus: Definition, optionality and strategic positioning of the strongest opportunities.

Action: Progressive drilling, 3D geological wireframing and JORC-aligned technical evaluation to support partnership, transaction or longer-term development pathways.

Five-year strategic execution roadmap

Our execution plan is structured across four phases, progressing from foundation building to value realisation. All activities are subject to approvals, access and capital allocation.

Phase 1: 2026–2027

Foundation and WA focus

Strategic focus: Establish Western Australia as Mountain Mine Q’s primary operational base.

Key milestones:

  • Data architecture: Completion of a unified digital database and full synthesis of WA historical exploration datasets.
  • Acquisition pipeline: Development of a focused portfolio within proven WA corridors, progressing Exploration Licence applications where conviction and commercial alignment are strong.
  • QA/QC framework: Implementation of standardised sampling and data capture protocols suitable for future JORC-aligned workstreams.

Phase 2: 2028

Validation and selective expansion

Strategic focus: Transition from target generation to structured field validation and, where warranted, initial drilling.

Key milestones:

  • Early programs: Execution of fit-for-purpose field validation programs across priority opportunities.
  • National footprint: Selective advancement of NT and SA opportunities where evidence quality and strategic fit justify expansion.
  • Exploration targets: Definition of conceptual Exploration Targets where sufficient technical confidence exists.

Phase 3: 2029

Resource pathway and portfolio optimisation

Strategic focus: Deepen work on high-conviction projects while actively managing the broader pipeline.

Key milestones:

  • Priority advancement: Continued drilling, modelling and technical evaluation of leading candidates where justified by results.
  • Portfolio discipline: Partnering or exiting non-core outcomes that do not meet flagship criteria to concentrate capital on highest-return pathways.
  • Metallurgical insight: Initiation of early-stage metallurgical testing where results support preliminary processing assessment.

Phase 4: 2030

Value realisation

Strategic focus: Monetising success and positioning the business for the next growth cycle.

Key milestones:

  • Economic scoping: Delivery of scoping-level evaluations where technical confidence supports progression.
  • Strategic outcomes: Assessment of partnership, corporate transaction or alternative pathways aligned with shareholder value.
  • Pipeline renewal: Recommencement of the funnel using a new generation of AI-supported opportunities across Western Australia and selective NT and SA settings.

The “Keep, Sell or JV” commercial model

Not every discovery follows the same development path. Mountain Mine Q maximises value by selecting the most appropriate strategy for each opportunity.
