Responsibility in action
Sustainable discovery that integrates ethical stewardship, safety and environmental care into modern mineral exploration.

The Future of Australian Resources
Environmental stewardship and
low-impact innovation
At Mountain Mine Q, we recognise that the minerals required for a lower-carbon future must be discovered responsibly. Our environmental approach is guided by a simple principle: minimal footprint and maximum insight.
Non-invasive exploration where appropriate
We prioritise remote sensing, hyperspectral interpretation and data-led screening before considering any ground-disturbing activities. This allows early-stage decisions to be made with minimal environmental impact.
Precision drilling and rehabilitation as activities progress
Where drilling is undertaken, programs are designed to minimise disturbance by using existing tracks where possible. Rehabilitation is managed in line with regulatory approvals and recognised best practice.
Water and biodiversity protection as required
For on-ground activities, appropriate baseline assessments and operational controls are applied to protect sensitive environments. This includes buffer management around waterways, habitats and areas of ecological significance.
Carbon-optimised logistics where applicable
Planning and logistics are designed to reduce unnecessary travel, optimise mobilisation and improve fuel efficiency during remote field campaigns.

Social responsibility and
cultural heritage
We acknowledge that we are guests on the land. Mountain Mine Q is committed to building respectful, transparent and mutually beneficial relationships with Traditional Owners and local communities as activities progress.

Cultural heritage protection protocols
Before any ground-disturbing work, we comply with applicable cultural heritage requirements and apply chance find procedures to ensure any unexpected heritage materials are identified and managed appropriately.

Local economic participation
Where practical and aligned with program requirements, we prioritise local procurement and seek opportunities to support local employment and skills development.

Open and respectful engagement
We maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring planned activities are understood and concerns are addressed early in the exploration process.
Health, safety and environment
Safety is a core measure of success, particularly in remote operating environments. Our HSE framework is designed to identify, assess and
manage risk at every stage of activity.
“Zero Harm” culture
All employees and contractors are empowered with Stop Work Authority where tasks are considered unsafe.
Remote operations safety
Operational controls are applied based on location and risk profile, including appropriate tracking and communication systems and scheduled check-in procedures.
Extreme environment management
Field protocols address risks associated with heat stress, wildlife interaction and remote medical scenarios, supported by trained and experienced field leadership.
Fatigue and wellbeing
Roster design and fatigue management practices are implemented to support safe, effective and sustainable performance.
Governance and compliance
Mountain MineQ operates with a strong commitment to transparency, accountability and ethical business conduct.

Regulatory alignment
We maintain compliance planning frameworks to support timely and accurate reporting as activities progress and as our operating footprint expands.
Ethics and anti-bribery
Our governance framework prohibits unethical conduct and promotes integrity-based relationships with stakeholders, partners and regulators.
